Established in London in the early 90’s, Religion was born into the East End’s rave scene, where music and fashion go hand in hand - chemically inspired, endlessly creative, and a way of life. Initially a niche t-shirt label, Religion’s ‘no fear’ attitude and experimentation with design, washes and trends quickly gave the label a diverse appeal and before long Religion found its signature style – distressed garments with a rock star edge, which the label applied to its rapidly expanding men’s and womenswear collections.
Today, Religion’s home is still the East End of London with two newly opened stores in Shoreditch and Brick Lane a testament to the brands appeal and its authentic approach to fashion. A strong celebrity following and the East End’s ‘epicentre of cool’ reputation ensure Religion continues to grow its fan base both at home and abroad.
